The INDO Irish Gold Cup weekend in the Seven Oaks Hotel, Co. Carlow

Saturday saw 42 youths entered with Sean Cummins (Wicklow) beating Katie Sheldon (Dublin) in the final to be crowded INDO Irish Gold Cup Winner. Beaten semi-finalists were Keanan Norris (Tipperary) & Max Kearney (Wicklow)

Saturday evening saw 26 ladies entered with a round robin format and saw Katie Sheldon (Dublin) beat Olive McIntyre (Leitrim) in the final. Beaten semi finalists were Linda Harte (Wexford) & Caroline Breen (Galway).

The men had 112 entries with best of 11 legs format throughout and saw Keane Barry (Meath) beat Martin Heneghan (Mayo) in a super final. Beaten semi-finalists were John O'Shea (Cork) & David Concannon (Roscommon).

Sunday was the Men’s & Ladies INDO Irish Gold Cup competitions. The ladies had 26 entries with a round robin format and saw Katie Sheldon (Dublin) beat Amy Byrne (Meath) in the final to be crowded INDO Irish Ladies Gold Cup Winner. Beaten semi-finalists were Linda Harte (Wexford) & Ces Lally (Galway).  

The men had 107 entries with best of 11 legs format throughout and saw Mick McGowan (Dublin) beat Keane Barry (Meath) in the final to be crowded INDO Irish Men’s Gold Cup Winner. Beaten semi-finalists were Mark Cullen (Carlow) & Conor Hurley (Waterford).

€4880 euros in Prize was paid over the weekend.
